We visit Ryde. Paul McCartney recently confirmed what the town already ‘knew’ …. The Beatles hit Ticket to Ride was inspired by a trip to Ryde made by Macca and John Lennon in the early sixties! It’s a fantastic place that combines shopping centres, golden sands, and creative hearts. We also visit East Cowes, home to the oldest and biggest sailing regatta in the world. Stroll through the vibrant town and enjoy independent shops and well-known yachting clothing stores, sit at a pavement café, or have lunch and people watch.

Godshill is the quintessential English village and boasts some of the oldest architecture on the Isle of Wight. With its delightful medieval church and main street lined with traditional tea rooms, Godshill is as picturesque as it is popular. We also visit Alum Bay for views of The Needles, one of the most photographed groups of rocks in the world.
