Christmas In & Around Colchester

Colchester, Britain’s oldest recorded town, is where the Romans set up their base in England. The town boasts a wide ‘boulevard’ as a main street. At one end of the street is Castle Park, complete with the largest Norman keep ever constructed and riverside walks. From our base at nearby Marks Tey we are ideally placed for exploring this part of East Anglia.

Christmas in Blackpool

A holiday in Blackpool will leave you feeling refreshed, relaxed and recharged - even if you're on the go 25 hours a day!
Perhaps it's the resort's infectious zest for life.  Or maybe it's just that, uniquely, whatever your routine Blackpool can offer a perfect break from it.

Cornish Delights

Our tour is based in St. Agnes a picturesque village on the north coast of Cornwall, nestled in the lee of an impressive landmark which dominates the skyline of the beautiful and dramatic Atlantic coast. Steeped in mining history, the village still retains a traditional friendly Cornish atmosphere.

Cornish 'Mistletoe & Wine

Based in St. Agnes ~ a lovely place to visit at any time of year.

Cutty Sark & Greenwich

The Cutty Sark is the most famous tea clipper built, and is the only to survive, (apart from the ‘City of Adelaide’ aka RNVR Carrick which is now in Australia) and is now in dry dock at Greenwich.

She was launched at Dumbarton, on the River Clyde in 1869 and her name comes from Robert Burns poem, Tam O’Shanter; Tam meets a group of witches, most of whom are ugly, but for Nannie, who is young & beautiful and is described as wearing only a “cutty sark”, i.e. a short chemise or shirt.  The ship’s figurehead is a representation of this witch.
