Sunday : We enjoy our journey to Holyhead in time for our ferry to Dublin. From here we make the journey to The Wilton Hotel, Bray for our overnight stay.
Monday : Following breakfast we drive north making our way to Enniskillen, Co. Fermanagh, where we make a stop. Enniskillen town is uniquely situated in the centre of the county between Upper and Lower Lough Erne which gives the town a continental ambience. Following some free time here we continue our journey to the Inishowen Gateway Hotel, Buncrana.
Tuesday : Following breakfast we meet our guide and the day starts with a scenic drive around the Inishowen Peninsula to Malin Head, the northernmost point in Ireland. Next on to Derry, the only completed walled city in Ireland and standing on the banks of the River Foyle. Here your tour will bring the fascinating history of this prominent walled city to life.
Wednesday : A more relaxing day as we spend it exploring Donegal, beginning with a trip through the Glenveagh National Park.
Thursday : Today we enjoy what Michael Palin described as “one of the most beautiful rail journeys in the world” - the train journey from Londonderry to Coleraine. The track runs alongside beautiful beaches, through Ireland’s longest railway tunnels and past historic landmarks. Following this spectacular journey we re-join our coach and make the short drive to The Giants Causeway where we include admission to the Visitor Experience and use of outdoors interpretive audio-guide. Please Note: there is a charge payable for the shuttle bus from the Visitor Centre to the Causeway (cost approx. £2.00 per person). From here we make our way to our overnight stay in Dunadry.
Friday : It’s time to bid Ireland a fond farewell and make our way to the port in time for our return ferry to Cairnryan. From here we continue to make our journey home with suitable stops en-route.
