This morning we travel to Saltaire Village World Heritage Site. It is named after Sir Titus Salt who built a textile mill, known as Salts Mill and this village on the River Aire. Saltaire is a village where people live, built in the Italianate style it has an enduring beauty and charm. You are free to wander around and enjoy this Victorian industrial model village. There are places to eat, some shops, a lovely park and attractions include Saltaire Boat Trip, Shipley Glen Tramway and Salts Mill.
Mid-afternoon we leave Saltaire and travel to a nearby hotel for a lovely Cream Tea to end our day.
