- Cathedral City of Worcester
- River Severn Cruise from Upton-upon-Severn to Tewkesbury, return
- Free Time in Tewkesbury
- Ledbury & Hereford
We enjoy our journey to the ancient market town of Ledbury which has a timeless, unhurried quality about it. Rich in history it has excellent examples of Norman, Tudor, Georgian and Victorian architecture. We spend some free time here to explore. In the afternoon we make our way to Hereford, a historic cathedral city and home to the medieval Mappa Mundi and the Chained Library.
Wednesday: We enjoy the short journey to Upton-upon-Severn in time to meet our River Cruise boat for relaxing sail on the River Severn to Tewkesbury. Here we disembark and have approximately 2 ½ hours to explore. Maybe take a stroll along the riverside, visit the 12th century Abbey and Wednesday market or discover Tewkesbury’s famous network or alleyways and explore the Medieval Old Town. We return to the River Cruise Boat in plenty of time for our return sailing to Upton-upon-Severn, where we meet the coach and are transported back to our hotel.
We head for the city of Worcester where we have time to explore the city with its imposing cathedral.
