Friday 8th December 2017 – Christmas Eve
After being picked up from home and transferred to our coach we enjoy our outward journey making suitable stops en-route to Llandudno and on to The Marlborough Hotel. Your accommodation at the hotel is as detailed on your Confirmation Invoice with Evening Meals, Breakfasts and a ‘Christmas Cracker’ package included.
On arrival at the hotel, we enjoy tea/coffee & mince pies before settling into our rooms. This evening there will be a Sherry Reception in the Lounge Bar prior to a five-course dinner, followed by live entertainment and later, a light finger buffet.
Saturday 9th December 2017 – Christmas Day
Following breakfast this morning, we enjoy our excursion which takes us to the Isle of Anglesey. From the moment you cross Britannia Bridge, you automatically become embraced in a different way of life. Island life. You’ll see stunning landscapes unspoilt coastline and picturesque towns and villages, all waiting to be explored. We make a stop in Beaumaris. Here you can explore a medieval castle, take a boat trip, discover pastel painted houses and see the work of local artists. Take a walk across a Victorian pier, do some shopping or just kick back in an ancient pub and try some award-winning food.
Following our free time here we return to the hotel in plenty of time to relax and unwind before our traditional five-course Christmas dinner with a visit from ‘Santa’ followed by live entertainment and a light finger buffet.
Sunday 10th December 2017 – New Year’s Eve
Following breakfast this morning, you have the day at leisure in Llandudno. Llandudno is Wales largest resort, uniquely situated between the Great and Little Ormes with two wonderful beaches, the award-winning North Shore and the quiet, sand-duned West Shore. Llandudno is a proper resort, with a pier, Punch and Judy and Donkey Man, plus arty and other modern attractions that add the perfect contemporary touch. Llandudno Pier is Grade II Listed and dates back to the late 1800s with an array of shops, cafes and bars. There’s lots of shopping in Llandudno with swish, modern Parc Llandudno with its big-name stores, and delightful speciality shops in and around its canopied streets. Llandudno will also tickle your taste buds with everything from fine dining to posh fish ‘n’ chips. Places throughout Llandudno serve up all kind of treats – with local flavours shining through.
This evening, we enjoy a Pimms Punch Reception with our hosts and fellow revellers, followed by a five-course Gala Dinner with party hats, etc. This is followed by live entertainment, an optional fancy dress parade and prizes. At 10:30pm we begin our ‘Midnight Countdown’ with balloon net, Auld Lang Syne and later, a light finger buffet.
Monday 11th December 2017
Your driver will advise you of what time your case needs to be outside your room, ready for collection to be put on the coach.
Following our final full Welsh breakfast, we leave The Marlborough Hotel, Llandudno and commence our journey home, again making suitable stops on our return. Once we’ve arrived at your coach joining point, your taxi will be waiting to transport you to your home.
