Excursions Included (not February or March)
We enjoy a scenic excursion as we travel through the Ribble Valley to the attractive market town of Skipton “The Gateway to the Dales”, situated in the Aire gap separating the Craven limestone Dales to the north, the gritstone moors to the south, and the pastoral Ribble valley to the west.
On Wednesday we enjoy a leisurely drive as we travel via Garstang and onto Lancaster where we meet our Waterbus for a cruise on Lune Aqueduct – The ‘canal in the sky’! The cruise includes spectacular views of the city skyline from the famous Aqueduct. Upon our return there will be some free time in Lancaster prior to returning to the hotel.
On the return journey we make a stop for some free time prior to continuing our journey home.
On the September Tour we include an evening excursion by coach through the illuminations. |

Excursions Included (for February and March)
We enjoy a scenic excursion edging towards the Yorkshire Dales, where we enjoy some free time in Skipton, an attractive market town which prides itself on being ‘The Gateway to the Dales’.
We also include an excursion which takes us to Liverpool and The Albert Dock, which showcases the best of the city in a World Heritage, waterfront setting. Situated in the largest group of Grade I listed buildings in the UK, the Albert Dock houses many award winning attractions. |
