The former spa town of Leamington was awarder 'Royal' status in 1838 and the Royal Pump rooms and spa date back to 1814.  Today this warwickshire town is thriving and offers much of interest.  Leamington is famous as the place where lawn tennnis began and the modern day rules were drawn up in 1874.  We feature a delightful sightseeing excursion into Oxfordshire, and the hotel offers festive musical entertainment each evening.


The Best Western Falstaff Hotel

The 3 star Best western Falstaff Hotel is just a few minutes walk from the town centre of Leamington Spa and was created in the 1920's from three Victorian Mansions, retaining the grace and character of the Victorian era.  All of the bedrooms have private facilities and have trouser press, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and tea/coffee makers.  The hotel offers an elegant lounge, stylish bar and Restaurant.  Sorry No Lift, but some ground floor bedrooms are available.

Itinerary

Friday: We enjoy aour journey to warwickshire, arriving at the Best Western Falstaff Hotel, Leamington Spa in time for afternoon tea and scones.  Dinner this evening is followed by entertainment.

Christmas Eve: Enjoy a leisurely breakfast this morning before taking a stroll into the town where you have a chance to explore, wander round the shops looking for that elusive last minute present, relax in the town centre Jephson Gardens.  Lunch today is NOT included.  Make your way back to the hotel in time for afternoon tea and then relax before dinner, which is followed by musical entertainment.  For those wishing to attend Midnight Mass details of local church services will be available in the hotel.

Christmas Day: Merry Christmas!  Following breakfast enjoy a leisurely day - maybe enjoy the board games in the hotel or take a pleasant stroll to work up an appetite for Christmas Lunch with coffee and mince pies.  Listen to the Queen's Speach, followed by a festive quiz and then get ready for tonights Buffet Dinner and musical entertainment.

Boxing Day: We enjoy a morning drive to the pretty medieval town of Burford, with it's long history and beautiful Cotswold architecture.  We spend some free time here before continuing to Historic Banbury, famed for its nursery rhyme 'Ride A Cock Horse'.  We return to the hotel in time for afternoon tea and to relax before dinner and our final evening of entertainment.

Tuesday: We reluctantly leave the hotel and make our journey home.
